Moreover, visitors of C3 AFA got to have a close-up view of the 8K technology at NHK World's booth! The event marked the Asian premiere of NHK World’s new hybrid animation Domo! World, presented on an 8K Super Hi-Vision resolution monitor.

Visitors trying their best to figure out the answers to the quiz, which were hidden in the animated Domo! World diorama.

Actual dolls and props used in the making of the animation were also put on display. The cute Domo tribe dolls gathered lots of attention from visitors.

One of the most popular activities at the booth was the animated photo corner where visitors could take GIF photos of themselves against a Domo! World backdrop and bring a printout home as a souvenir!

On the second day, popular idol group Moso Calibration dropped by the booth to hold a fan meeting! They shot a segment of NHK World’s music program J-MELO, and played an exciting game of jan-ken-pon (i.e. Rock, paper, scissors) with the fans!

The colorful Time After Time Domo Capsule corner attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the event. Many had lots of fun writing and decorating letters to their future selves.

Kawaii Leader, YUYU Monster, was also present at the booth to help visitors at the Time After Time Domo Capsule corner.

Visitors could also try out NHK World’s free Video-On-Demand service on iPads at the Video-On-Demand corner.

We hope that everyone enjoyed the event as much as Idol Pink did! See you next year!
