Event Reports

Japan Expo is a convention on Japanese pop culture that’s held in Paris. It’s the biggest of its kind in the world outside Japan. The event welcomes more than 240,000 people every year.

The NHK World booth featured DOMO! WORLD for the first time. You can watch episodes of DOMO! WORLD on our website.

Idol Pink, the leader of DOMO! WORLD idol duo MO-DO, appeared for the first time as the NHK World ambassador. Doesn’t Idol Pink look cute with makeup?

People loved Idol Pink.

A photo session with the beloved Idol Pink was the hottest event at the NHK World booth.

Everywhere she went, she was surrounded by a crowd of people.

Idol Pink went to visit other booths at the event. She found a rickshaw — a traditional Japanese passenger cart — parked against a photo of Asakusa. She posed for photos with its staff. Say cheese!

Japanese Latte artist Mr. Yuichi Ito visited our booth.

Mr. Ito drew a Domo. It’s so cute, we wanted to keep it forever.

Thank you very much for coming to the NHK World booth.

Did you take a group shot with Domo? Find your photo on our Facebook album!
