"Embracing Myanmar?"

Myanmar seems to be taking major strides towards democracy. But how real are these changes? The country recently received its first visit by a U.S. Secretary of State in 56 years. China, the nation with the most economic influence on Myanmar, wants to assert regional supremacy. ASEAN has endorsed Myanmar to chair the ASEAN organization in 2014 but needs to respond to international pressure for further democratization in Myanmar. Three guests, one from the U.S., one from China, and one from Indonesia, join us to discuss what we can expect from the recent changes in Myanmar, and the country's prospects for democracy.
