What is Podcasting?
Podcasting is content downloading system for a variety of sources including Internet radios on a personal computer (PC) to listen to them on the PC or a portable digital media player. It allows you to listen to the downloaded content in the same way that you listen to an aircheck on a portable player. To receive your favorite shows with podcasting, you need to sign up for Internet radio stations or other sources through a piece of special software. You then get the most recent episode of each show stored in your PC as it becomes available because the software automatically downloads it. You can listen to a content of your choice when and where you want, such as on the train commuting to and from the workplace.
How to listen to Podcasts?
Click on the "Play Audio" button to check what contents are stored. To enjoy podcasts, you need to have an Internet connection and an application that specializes in receiving digital media (e.g. iTunes). Download a special application, which then automatically downloads each new episode for you. You can listen to this episode later when you want if you transfer it to your portable digital media player.
If you have iTunes
The registration is completed as you drag and drop the button on the podcast screen in iTunes. You can enjoy your favorite content when you want if you transfer it to your portable digital media player. Old episodes stored in the podcast are automatically replaced by the most recent ones when they become available.
