"The Fair Ladies Awaken" By Genichi Nakamura

Odashirogahara is a marshland in Nikko City, Tochigi. A lake appeared here for the first time in four years after a typhoon passed through the area. Larch trees in the background surround white birches affectionately known as "fair ladies" -they gleam beautifully in the morning sun.

How to use wallpapers

  • *Windows users

    (1) Left click on your desired wallpaper size and a new window opens to display the wallpaper.
    (2) Right click on the image to select "Set as desktop background/wallpaper" from the menu.

    *Mac OSX users

    (1) Click on your desired wallpaper size and a new window opens to show your choice of wallpaper.
    (2) Download the wallpaper and select "Desktop & Screen Saver" on the "System Preferences" menu.
    (3) Click "Choose Folder" in the left panel to select the folder where the downloaded image is saved.
    (4) Click your chosen image to display it as the desktop background.

*Please note that the right to use these calendar photographs expire at the end of 2013, so please don't use them after that.
