"Even Lions Like Fireworks" By Minoru Yamagiwa

The Kumano Grand Fireworks Festival in Kumano City, Mie is held every August. On the left is the Shishi-Iwa, or Lion Rock. It resembles a growling lion, doesn't it? It is designated as a national monument, and is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

How to use wallpapers

  • *Windows users

    (1) Left click on your desired wallpaper size and a new window opens to display the wallpaper.
    (2) Right click on the image to select "Set as desktop background/wallpaper" from the menu.

    *Mac OSX users

    (1) Click on your desired wallpaper size and a new window opens to show your choice of wallpaper.
    (2) Download the wallpaper and select "Desktop & Screen Saver" on the "System Preferences" menu.
    (3) Click "Choose Folder" in the left panel to select the folder where the downloaded image is saved.
    (4) Click your chosen image to display it as the desktop background.

*Please note that the right to use these calendar photographs expire at the end of 2013, so please don't use them after that.
