Can I view NHK WORLD TV or NHK WORLD PREMIUM on the Internet?
- NHK WORLD TV services are provided on the Internet (simultaneous retransmission). The service allows viewers to receive the broadcast provided by NHK WORLD TV on the Internet almost at the same time as the actual TV broadcast.
- Due to broadcasting rights, the programming may vary depending on the region you live in.
- Because of the characteristics of the Internet and Internet connections, the images may be received slightly later than the actual TV broadcast.
- A service available on some smart phones was started in February 2010.
- NHK WORLD PREMIUM cannot be viewed on the Internet.
- You can see some of the news broadcasts in Chinese and Portuguese.
- Radio news services can be heard in 18 languages on the Internet. Information programs and Japanese language lessons can be heard in 17 languages (other than Japanese). Click here for details
