Animator and filmmaker, Nawruz, an immigrant from southern Philippines, has struggled to find a better life in old housing project, BLISS, for a decade. In 2015, even if he wants to stay in Manila, he feels it's time go back to his hometown.
Before he leaves, he will make last-ditch efforts to stay in the big city? Can he find a good place for his love and future?.

Nawruz Paguidopon earned a Fine Arts degree from the University of the Philippines (UP) with a major in Visual Communications. His first short feature documentary is “Rhose, Where do Your Dreams Go?” was funded by the Philippine’s National Commission for Culture and the Arts. He was a participant of two documentary production and mentoring workshops, one from 2010 for his short documentary “A Butterfly Taboo” and the other this year of 2014 for “God BLISS Our Home”, organized by the Goethe-Institut Philippinen, Alliance Francaise, UP Film Institute, Independent Filmmakers Cooperative and Dela Salle College of St. Benilde School of Design and Arts. His film, God BLISS Our Home also undergone a mentoring session from the Hanoi DocLab Southeast Asia summer workshop with Dutch Documentary Filmmaker Leonard Retel Helmrich in Hanoi Vietnam. He recently finished his first full length documentary, “A Journey to Haifa” and entry competition with a grant from one of the country’s biggest TV news network, GMA News TV and another short documentary, Home Away Home with NHK World Japan. He has pitched his project to Docs Port Incheon (South Korea), Docedge Kolkata (India), Dare to Dream in Bali and Jogjakarta (Indonesia), and Leipzig Network Days (Germany).
In College he was a member of the academic student film organization “Cinema as Art Movement” or CAM where he was able to immerse in the film practice. His on-the-job training in film production specialized on production design. He attended documentary, scriptwriting and editing workshops at the UP Film Institute.
