Kosuge Misato has been a television and radio producer for over 15 years at NHK. She started her career as a video editor and initially worked at the Sapporo and Morioka branches.
She moved to NHK World in 2009 and has been covering social issues with a focus on female empowerment and international relations, especially between Japan and Russia. She has lived in Moscow and speaks Russian.
