Yotsumoto Jun is a Tokyo-based NHK correspondent. From 1999, she's been covering various beats including police, local governments and social affairs at NHK's bureaus in Okinawa and Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. She is especially active in the coverage of World War 2-related stories and recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
