すみません [SUMIMASEN]
Excuse me. / I'm sorry.
We use it to call out to somebody. When you've lost your way, you can say SUMIMASEN to somebody who happens to pass by, and ask the person the way. We can also use SUMIMASEN when we want to say "I'm sorry."
