US collector releases wild animals, kills self
More than 50 wild animals were let free from a collector's home in the US state of Ohio. Most have been killed or captured, but a wolf and a monkey remain on the loose.
Local officials say a 62-year-old animal collector in Zanesville, a town with a population of 25,000, opened the cages on his property, and then killed himself on Tuesday.
56 animals escaped, including 18 Bengal tigers, 17 lions, 6 Asiatic black bears and 3 brown bears. 54 have been shot dead or captured.
So far no one has been injured in the incident, but local schools were closed for the day.
