Protests continue near Wall St

More young Americans are joining the protests near Wall Street in New York against high unemployment and social inequality.

They are angry at the financial industry and the few rich people who monopolize the nation's wealth. They are calling for social reform.

Protestors are gathering from various parts of the nation at a park that has served as their base for more than 2 weeks. Some are camping out there.

No major rallies and marches were scheduled for Tuesday, but more people are expected to join the protests after they finish work.

Demonstrations are likely to continue as some people are calling through social networking sites for a nationwide rally in the middle of this month.

Some business people on Wall Street are taking a critical view of the protests. A 32-year-old man who works in advertising says people on Wall Street have also started from scratch and climbed the corporate ladder.

A 60-year-old investment banker says young people cannot accept reality because they have a naive view of the world.
